The client

Surrey County Council is responsible for a number of local public services in Surrey. These include transport and highway management, education, health and welfare, social services, waste and recycling.

The brief

Surrey County Council commissioned Ingenious to create an animation raising awareness about their new on-demand Mole Valley Connect bus service via social media and the council website. They asked us to ‘work our magic’ in bringing to life and highlighting key elements of the service, including area and routes covered and how to book it.

Really happy with what Ingenious have produced for us! The animation is great and they were really helpful and responsive to changes. Will definitely do more with them in the future.

The results

We initially created a storyboard with illustrations, an essential element before the process of animation can begin. This was quickly approved and we then took the illustrations from the story board and brought them to life by animating them, adding a voice over and music to create the final video which provides accessible, clear and upbeat information about this valuable service.

Known as a Demand Responsive Transport solution, the Connect service is available for everyone in the Mole Valley area of Surrey. It is a safe, reliable and fully accessible bus sharing service that connects people to their local community.
